Report Tables.

Thursday, January 3, 2019.

40 m: Friday, 0100 - 0130 UTC, 7044 kHz.

Notes:
- De AA7FV: Welcome to the net, Bill. Jay still on his boat, in dock. Conditions on both bands seemed extremely poor tonight. Thanks everyone for coming up, and I look forward to working you all again on the net. Conditions have to improve!
- De KT5LA: ATAS antenna mounted to the sternrail of my 35' sailboat, at the dock in CA.
- De W1SFR: Very faint sigs tonight on the net Darrel. 119 with hvy QRN. Not enough there to copy. I'll try again next week.
- De KA5TJS: Unavailable.

40 m: Friday, 0100 - 0120 UTC, 7044 kHz.

Notes:
- De AA7FV: 95 watts at first, then QRO to kW on both bands. Very poor conditions - the worst I can remember on 40m. QSY early to 80m.
- De W1SFR: 40 was terrible here as well. Most signals in the mud but several years of QRP ops certainly does help when the S meter shows nothing and you can still get some useful copy. HiHi.

Notes:
- De AA7FV: 80m very much better than 40m, although still not great. Thanks everyone for coming up and persevering in such bad conditions.
- De KA5TJS: 80 was still very QSB but Darrel and Don were solid. Winter and 80 will win every time I think HI HI.
- De W1SFR: 80 much better for me here in VT although we were in the middle of a snow storm. 8" and now 10 deg F here.

40 m: Friday, 0100 - 0125 UTC, 7044 kHz.

Notes:
- De KA5TJS: Steve was low but fair copy thru the session. I got W5UX in NM and Steve called and got the other two (TNX for the QSP's). KD4ZFS came up to a 579 while Steve was working him but I never did hear Bill WA4FAT.

Notes:
- De KA5TJS: Steve was lighter on 80 but still copy-able. TJ was booming in and gave Steve a 559 RST. QSB was bad on all but W5UX and K9TJL. QRN was low on both bands tonight.

Notes:
- De AA7FV: Good to have Randy back in the net. From AZ, conditions were excellent on both bands tonight. I wish conditions were always this good.

Notes:
- De AA7FV: On 40m W1SFR 579 QSB - sometimes stronger on my active vertical. This was a great net. From Arizona, great conditions on both bands. An addendum, to confirm the good conditions tonight. I checked RBN immediately after the net. During the net I had received 38 reports on 40m, and 20 RBN reports on 80m. Conditions were good.

- De KA5TJS: Wow, report is peaks and QSB was all over but great signals for sure. 40 meters was the winner tonight for sure! Great net Darrel.
- De WA4FAT: How nice to actually be able to hear so many participants in the SSN! Perhaps someday I'll have an antenna for 80 and be able to join in there. In the meantime, 40 it is!

- De K7FD: Good turnout!
