Report Tables.

Sunday, January 1, 2023.

80 m: 2000 - 2013 UTC, 3566 kHz.

Notes:
- De F5LAW: A very bad start to 2023. Good signal at first from GM3VMB but lost in QSB after the intro. I think I heard M0HTE calling and nothing from PA3BYW. I gave up at 2013 UTC. A very Happy and Healthy Year 2023 to you and yours friends.
- De GM3VMB: Never had conditions that poor before. F5LAW was Q4 to Q5 but very weak and fluttery. I heard PA3BYW after we signed but with a similar signal to F5LAW's so difficult to read. May 2023 be a happy and prosperous new year for you and yours.
- De M0HTE: I couldn't hear F5LAW on the radio and only just audible on the sdr.web I called a couple of times but Yann couldn't hear me so gave up. Not much other activity on 80m my end either. HNY and 73.
- De PA3BYW: Total disaster. I heard F5LAW via web sdr in Italy. Tried to QNI but nil. I tried many websdr's tonite from Finland, Fuerteventura (Canarias), Ireland, Italy etc. I could here my signals clearly. But nearby web sdr's nothing. Happy New Year to all.

Sunday, January 8, 2023.

80 m: 2000 - 2118 UTC, 3566 kHz.

Notes:
- De PA3BYW: First, wish you and your family a happy and healthy new year. Nice to hear you all but condx were vy unsettled. Some times I had to use a web SDR.
- De DL2KHU: Unstable conds and a noisy band but a great net. Vy pleased to meet you all in the new year.
- De F5LAW: Nice session in spite of extremely unstable conditions, very deep QSB on all stations, peak reports. Excellent signal from DL7ACH running QRP. A very Happy and Healthy Year 2023 to you and yours friends.
- De M0HTE: My vertical antenna is now back up on a new pole. I was using the delta loop most of the time but swapping it with the vert to see if readings changed but S number stayed much the same regardless of which one I had on.

- De G4LMW: OK... so my last SSN was in 2009! (wid F5LAW and DK3UZ). Been QRT for quite a while. Was listening on the side tonight and heard most participants (I believe). Was lovely to hear the cootie “music” again. Managed to hook up my key but not having used it for 14 years, wasn’t quite confident enough to call in! Maybe sometime soon I’ll get to say hello again.

- De F5LAW: Nice session in spite of bad QSB. Signals steadier and much stronger at end.
- De DL2KHU: Typical midsummer conds. Noisy band and deep QSB.
- De M0HTE: I could only hear Yann, F5LAW peaking 589 with QSB via the radio but the rest of the group were 599 via WEB SDR. Thank you for using sdr to read me.
- De PA3BYW: Bit confusing start, some Polish hams using same QRG.

Notes:
- De F5LAW: Unsettled conditions, deep QSB on all signals but Uli's - DL2KHU, strongest station tonight. Glad Peter - GM3VMB joined the fun at end of net.
- De PA3BYW: Compass cootie on a new h/b Arduino keyer - designed by Peter GM3VMB. This keyer has 3 modes:
- Iambic A ( but Iambic B can be programmed as well if desired). + weight control.
- Bug mode. Dots are made by the keyer but dashes by hand.
- Cootie mode. All is send by hand but the keyer' s timing is used for spacing assist. It kinda forces you in a certain pace but keying is done exactly as I normally do. Strange experience though.
- De M0HTE: Peak as follows but all stations were 599 via WEB SDR.

- De M0HTE: Poor condx last night, even the SDR was QSB at times. Peak radio readings as follows but all stations QRK5 via SDR in Belgium. I varied between the delta loop and the vert but no appreciable difference noted. Good QSOs on 17m using the vertical ant, better than the delta loop on this band.

Sunday, September 10, 2023.

80 m: 1900 - 2010 UTC, 3566 kHz.

Notes:
- De DL2KHU: Good conds. QSB and local QRM but no QRN at my antenna. Strong QRN at G3ROO web SDR. This Sunday I mounted the 7 m fishing pole at my balcony railing. So I can extend the normal 7 m monopole (direct from the railing to the next tree) into a 12m inverted L antenna. Sunday there are three sessions, 80 m "Siegerlandrunde", 17 m Intercontinental SSN and 80 m EU SSN. So the effort is worth it.
- De F5LAW: Nice session in spite of QSB and QRN, and... 29°C in the shack.
